Research

One of the most important open questions in astronomy is How do planetary systems form and evolve?.  My research aims to contribute to answering this question by deepening our understanding of the dynamical interactions of celestial bodies, from stars to planets and comets, through the stellar life cycle and beyond. I cross the borders of various disciplines, and my work spans a broad spectrum of topics, including:  (1) the solar system, (2) planetary atmospheres , (3) astrobiology, (4) exoplanets, (5) evolved stars, (6) N-star systems, (7) stellar clusters, and (8) galactic dynamics.
